• You see yourself as a driver of ideas, have a hospitality mindset and are passionate about the events industry. • From the point of seed to the point of sale: Fruit Logistica positions itself as an innovation driver across the entire value chain. • As International Buyers Manager (m/f/d) you are not only jointly responsible for the conceptual development and operational implementation of the event, but also for rethinking trade fair formats in general. • Structured identification and analysis of visitor needs as the basis for the conceptual development of suitable products. • Development and implementation of a concept for a dedicated Fruit Logistica Buyers Program focused on acquiring and retaining buyers and facilitating networking with exhibitors. • Establishing and managing a Buyers Club including organizing a Buyers' Lounge for Fruit Logistica, and coordinating with sponsors and service providers. • Developing and steering innovative concepts for exhibitor and trade visitor networking.
• Degree or completed vocational training with a focus on business administration, sales, or event management, or comparable qualification, or several years of relevant professional experience. • Several years of relevant professional experience in the trade fair business, with knowledge of all areas and facets of trade show organization. • Desirable relevant experience in the international fruit trade. • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as an articulate manner of expression. • Strong methodological skills in project management and project controlling. • High degree of customer orientation. • Confident handling of numbers, data and facts with regard to forecasts, reports and other statistics. • Fluent English and German language skills, both written and spoken; additional foreign language skills preferred. • Confident user of standard MS Office applications.
