📋 Description

• Architect and deploy open-source data software, including Trino, Spark, Pinot, and Druid, on Amazon EKS • Maintain infrastructure as code using IDEs, Git, and strict coding best practices • Navigate complex customer hierarchies and technical environments to identify, propose, and implement bespoke solutions • Design and implement novel, high-risk technical solutions • Act as a subject-matter expert in open-source technologies • Ensure infrastructure builds are well-architected and production-ready

🎯 Requirements

• Agree with the Corporate Values Statement • Believe in the company's mission to help people • Believe in the principles of open source • Advanced to fluent English communication skills • Deep expertise in Kubernetes and Amazon EKS • Proficiency in Terraform, Helm, Docker, and Karpenter • Minimum 3/5 rating in deploying and managing Data OSS software, including Trino, Spark, or Pinot • Strong familiarity with Data Lakes, Spark, and Hive architectures • Willingness to work with non-AWS and broad open-source ecosystems • Comfort engaging with complex customer environments • Aptitude for high-stakes technical troubleshooting • Mid-level experience • Prior hands-on experience with Fruitstand is nice to have • History of contributing to or managing complex open-source projects in production environments is nice to have
