📋 Description

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of infrastructure and cloud services engineers • Set goals and KPIs, provide mentorship and coaching, and conduct performance evaluations • Hire and onboard team members and build diverse, inclusive teams • Establish staffing plans, on-call rotations, and coverage models for 24x7 global operations • Manage support for on-premises, virtualized, and cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage, and containers • Drive capacity planning, patching, configuration management, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery • Execute infrastructure-as-code and automation initiatives using tools such as Terraform and Ansible • Oversee multi-cloud platforms including AWS and Azure, covering landing zones, IAM, networking, security, guardrails, cost management, and FinOps • Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies and articulate adoption paths • Partner on secure CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, and GitOps workflows • Establish SLOs/SLAs, observability, incident response, and post-incident reviews • Improve runbooks, automation, and standards to reduce issues and improve meantime to recovery • Oversee WAN/LAN, VPN, DNS, load balancers, and cloud networking infrastructure • Ensure uptime of voice and communication platform integrations • Implement security controls, policy-as-code, compliance guardrails, audits, and regulatory requirements • Refine technology standards and implement technology roadmaps with architects • Provide follow-the-sun service delivery and incident response • Track performance metrics, SLAs, and operational KPIs • Drive problem, change, and configuration management aligned with ITIL practices • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction • Collaborate with practices, product teams, data teams, Information Security, and global IT groups • Communicate technical topics to non-technical leaders and build executive-ready business cases • Partner with peer IOC managers to ensure end-to-end service integration across global operations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience • 10+ years of experience managing cloud services and infrastructure in a global context • At least 5+ years leading engineering teams • Knowledge of data center, virtualization, and cloud networking, including VPN, load balancing, DNS, and cloud network architectures • Understanding of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP • Knowledge of cloud-native services, IAM, networking, security, and cost optimization • Strong understanding of observability, incident management, change management, and ITIL-aligned operations • Track record driving process improvements, standardization, and operational excellence across distributed teams • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels • Inclusive leadership, talent development, and team-building skills across diverse, cross-cultural teams • Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field • Preferred: Experience in multinational organizations and supporting 24x7 global services • Preferred: Knowledge of containers and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes • Preferred: Infrastructure-as-code, automation, and CI/CD experience • Preferred: Relevant AWS/Azure/GCP professional-level, ITIL, project management, Databricks, or security certifications • Preferred: Familiarity with Databricks, AI/ML platform enablement, emerging AI technologies, and enterprise adoption patterns
