📋 Description

• Partner with IT and internal teams to support, design, implement, and maintain SAP systems across MKS’s global SAP landscape • Partner with peers across the IT organization to solve complex business problems and lead development of high-level solution options and technical approaches • Lead technical initiatives such as infrastructure refreshes, data center migrations, and disaster recovery solutions • Develop SAP infrastructure and application project plans • Ensure delivery of technical milestones established by application delivery managers • Evaluate and recommend SAP technologies and related products • Troubleshoot and resolve significant system issues, including performance bottlenecks and stability concerns • Balance architecture and project activities (approximately 80%) with operational support activities (approximately 20%) • Manage multiple projects simultaneously • Report to the SAP Basis Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field • 8+ years of SAP Basis administration and architecture experience in complex enterprise environments • Extensive experience with SAP ERP, SAP APO, SAP Fiori, SAP GRC, SAP Portal, SAP BW, SAP PO, SAP SSO Server, and SAP Web Dispatcher • Strong experience with Linux and Windows operating systems • Strong experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, SAP HANA, and MaxDB databases supporting SAP applications • Proven experience performing SAP version upgrades and support package upgrades • Hands-on experience with SAP security and authentication technologies including SSO, SNC, SAML, multi-factor authentication, and load balancing • Experience managing SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), and SAP IBP • SAP certification in SAP Basis, SAP HANA, or related SAP technologies preferred • Experience with SAP cloud integration and hybrid landscape architectures preferred • Knowledge of automation, monitoring, and orchestration tools used in SAP operations preferred • Experience leading offshore technical teams and third-party service providers preferred • Strong understanding of ITIL processes, change management, and enterprise operational governance preferred • Ability to work in an office or remote environment using standard computer equipment • Ability to sit for extended periods while performing technical and analytical work • Ability to participate in after-hours maintenance activities, system upgrades, and production support events • May require participation in on-call support rotations for critical SAP production environments
