📋 Description

• Administer SQL Server databases across development, testing and production environments in AWS/Azure • Configure, monitor and maintain database performance, availability and security • Perform end-to-end database troubleshooting and real-time issue resolution • Execute maintenance, upgrades, migrations, backups, restores and database recovery • Support release deployments and maintenance activities outside business hours • Automate operational processes and maintain technical documentation • Implement and support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions • Optimize database performance using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools • Perform other routine tasks within the area

🎯 Requirements

• Experience administering SQL Server databases • Experience managing databases in AWS and/or Azure cloud environments • Experience with cloud-native database management and monitoring tools • Experience with Database Performance Tuning and Optimization • Experience with Backup, Restore and Recovery management • Experience implementing and sustaining High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions • Experience with database management and maintenance • Experience with Database Upgrades and Migrations • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Bachelor’s degree required • Basic knowledge of Windows administration (advantage) • Scripting experience with PowerShell (advantage) • Certifications in SQL Server administration, such as MCTS, MCITP, MVP or equivalent (advantage) • Advanced English for conversation; there will be an interview stage in English
