📋 Description

• Drive successful delivery and execution of projects within engineering teams • Manage end-to-end technical planning and translate product requirements into actionable tasks • Coordinate collaboration among engineers, product managers, QA, UX, and other stakeholders • Own end-to-end delivery across cross-functional teams within the product area • Evaluate requirements for technical feasibility and architectural alignment • Define EPICs and technical user stories • Refine, groom, and prioritize the backlog with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers • Plan and drive sprint execution, timelines, milestones, and dependencies • Champion engineering processes and rituals • Monitor team velocity and capacity and optimize resource allocation • Coordinate cross-team dependencies and remove bottlenecks • Guide design decisions, enforce sound design patterns, and participate in code reviews • Ensure monitoring, alerting, and observability for owned services and meet SLIs/SLOs • Define, track, and publish post-release product metrics • Maintain high technical standards and ensure project milestones are met

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field • 8-10 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar hands-on technical role • 5+ years of experience building production systems using Java and Spring Boot • Minimum 3 years of engineering leadership experience managing high-performing teams • Solid grasp of Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery • Ability to translate complex product requirements into EPICs, user stories, and tasks • Strong backend engineering expertise; frontend exposure is a plus • Experience with project planning and tracking tools • Familiarity with engineering and product health metrics and monitoring tools • Ability to debug complex production issues, lead incident response, and conduct blameless RCA • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, release management, and associated metrics • Ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders • Risk management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder communication skills • Track record of improving team velocity, delivery predictability, and engineering excellence • Problem-solving, communication, adaptability, and attention to detail • Experience managing and mentoring engineers • Ability to assess bandwidth and manage resource distribution • Ability to conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback • Ability to lead project status reviews and manage expectations
