📋 Description

• Lead and manage a small team of product designers • Prioritise initiatives, align the team, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality design work • Mentor and inspire designers through critiques, coaching, feedback, learning, and skill development • Manage project timelines, roadmaps, and design workflows • Contribute hands-on to key design projects • Partner with product managers, engineers, executives, and other stakeholders to translate strategic goals into user-friendly solutions • Advocate for user-centred design using qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing, and behavioural insights • Ensure design consistency and scalability through design systems and atomic design principles • Champion accessibility and inclusive design • Collaborate with analytics and product teams to measure design impact and optimise experiences based on data • Participate in portfolio review, recruiter call, senior leadership interview, design leadership challenge, and final executive conversation

🎯 Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating leadership of design teams and end-to-end product design solutions across platforms • Experience leading and developing design teams • Expertise in UX/UI principles, interaction design, and user research methodologies • Proven track record delivering results-driven digital products • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and advocate for design • Strategic mindset and ability to translate product goals into scalable, flexible, user-centric solutions • Experience managing design workflows, tools, and operational processes • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Experience in fintech or SaaS • Strong understanding of financial products, compliance, security, and designing for trust • Resume and portfolio with UX case studies demonstrating strategic thinking, process, measurable outcomes, leadership, research, data, experimentation, workflow optimisation, and success metrics
