📋 Description

• Develop, integrate and debug low-level motor communication and control for the robot: motor controllers, encoders, telemetry and CAN interfaces with the actuation system • Develop, integrate and debug drivers and interfaces for the robot's sensors and actuators • Maintain integration between embedded computers (Linux, NVIDIA Jetson/Orin) and the motion control system, ensuring reliable operation of motors, actuators and feedback sensors • Select, integrate and validate embedded sensors and devices — cameras, LiDARs, positioning systems and other platform equipment • Integrate and validate vendor firmware with the robot stack, including root-cause analysis of failures in low-level subsystems • Optimize performance, latency and reliability of real-time robotic systems • Evolve the onboard compute and communication architecture as the robot scales • Validate on bench and in the field, supporting operations: remote debugging and updating devices deployed on the farm

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in embedded software on Linux (Jetson or similar), with hands-on C/C++ and Python • Knowledge of motor control systems, encoders and position/velocity feedback mechanisms • Experience integrating and debugging CAN-based motion control systems — motor drivers, encoders and telemetry • Proficiency with embedded communication protocols (CAN, I2C, SPI, serial) and ability to debug from logs to the oscilloscope • Technical autonomy: take a loosely defined problem, propose a solution and deliver it working • English for technical documentation and communication with international suppliers
