• Grow and maintain strong relationships with hospital clients • Drive new business through prospecting, networking, and market research • Partner with internal teams to ensure client success—from proposals to onboarding and ongoing support • Provide customer education on new products, policies, and trends • Monitor account performance, prepare account reviews, and create territory management plans • Representing M&D at industry events, staying ahead of trends, and regulatory change
• 4+ years of account management or business development experience in healthcare sales, preferably calling on hospital buying departments • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint required) • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities • Willingness to travel up to 50% (20% overnight) • Relevant experience or education aligned with the responsibilities of this role • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field • Preferred: Prior experience in pharmaceutical distribution sales • Preferred: Knowledge of health systems industry challenges and trends • Preferred: CRM system experience
