📋 Description

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of Bluetooth Classic, BLE, LTE-M, NB-IoT, and 5G features for embedded platforms and smartphones • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor, guiding team members on best practices for wireless development, debugging protocols, and modem firmware updates (FOTA) • Collaborate with product, hardware, and mobile teams to define end-to-end connectivity requirements and solutions, including SIM/eSIM management and device provisioning • Debug, optimize, and validate wireless protocols and firmware across multi-core embedded systems and mobile OS environments, focusing on power consumption and data throughput • Design and implement automated testing frameworks for Bluetooth and LTE certification and interoperability testing • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies (Bluetooth SIG, 3GPP, LPWAN, cellular V2X) to ensure products remain cutting-edge

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in wireless connectivity or embedded software development • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field • Strong programming experience in C/C++ for embedded systems, and Java/Kotlin/Swift for mobile platforms • Deep expertise in Bluetooth stacks (profiles, pairing/bonding, custom services) • Deep expertise in LTE/5G stacks (protocols like IP, UDP, TCP), including performance and QoS optimization • Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS) • Hands-on experience with iOS and Android Bluetooth and modem APIs (CoreBluetooth, TelephonyManager, NetworkExtension, CellularGateway) • Understanding of wireless coexistence challenges and mitigation strategies • Familiarity with network simulation tools and RF lab equipment (spectrum analyzers, network emulators) • Experience with modem firmware updates (FOTA) and certification testing (PTCRB, GCF) • Ability to mentor and provide technical leadership • Authorization to receive and access commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations
