📋 Description

• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support (remote and in-person) to MSF OCBA portfolio across Water Supply, Hygiene, Sanitation and Vector Control domains. • Monitor Watsan status across portfolio through regular remote support and structured field visits. • Design and support community-based Watsan interventions by applying participatory methodologies. • Advise programs’ teams on Watsan strategy definition and annual planning. • Support the design and installation of Watsan infrastructure in health structures and community settings. • Train and coach field Watsan staff and logistics teams on technical and community Watsan topics. • Support emergency and outbreak response operations upon request.

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Health, Public Health Engineering, or a closely related technical field. • A postgraduate qualification in Water and Sanitation, Public Health or Humanitarian Studies will be considered an asset. • Minimum of 2 years of field experience in WASH/WATSAN with an NGO, including community and healthcare facility (HCF) WASH, outbreak response, adult training facilitation, and working in remote and/or insecure settings. • Previous MSF WASH field experience will be considered a strong asset. • Experience in Latin America, particularly Colombia, and in climate-vulnerable or climate-affected contexts will be considered an asset. • Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required. • French will be considered an asset. • Strong knowledge of Sphere WASH standards, water treatment and quality testing, excreta and wastewater management, healthcare waste management, community WASH methodologies, and vector control principles. • Knowledge of MSF WASH protocols and tools, as well as GIS and/or EPANET, will be considered an asset.
