📋 Description

• Own end-to-end deployment projects from pre-installation planning through final go-live • Review building plans, floor plans, and construction drawings to determine device and gateway placement • Coordinate third-party installers, contractors, client IT teams, facilities teams, and other stakeholders • Confirm site prerequisites before installation begins • Track device quantities, installation progress, logistics, dependencies, risks, and project milestones • Identify deployment risks and proactively develop solutions • Provide technical direction to contractors and resolve deployment blockers • Maintain project documentation, status updates, deployment records, and stakeholder communications • Verify device installation, connectivity, configuration, and data reporting • Troubleshoot IP addressing, DHCP/DNS, VLANs, firewall rules, ports, proxies, connectivity, connected devices, gateways, sensors, cloud connectivity, and BMS integrations • Coordinate with customer network administrators to resolve network admission and access requirements • Determine whether issues originate from the device, network, BMS, installation, or integration layer • Remotely troubleshoot field issues and guide contractors or customer teams through on-site resolution • Support technically complex customer issues and tickets, approximately 20% of the role • Diagnose BACnet communication, point discovery, mapping, and data-quality issues when applicable • Work across customer support, deployment, engineering, sales, and customer success teams • Escalate issues to engineering only when product-level intervention is required • Document troubleshooting processes, solutions, and recurring technical issues • Act as a key technical and project-facing contact for enterprise customers and stakeholders • Communicate timelines, dependencies, risks, resolutions, and business impacts • Ensure deployments are planned properly, executed on time, technically sound, and transitioned into production

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing or deploying physical technology in commercial buildings, such as IoT, low-voltage, security, AV, telecom, BMS, HVAC controls, building automation, or similar technologies • Demonstrated experience owning projects from planning through completion, not only performing field installation tasks • Strong ability to read and interpret floor plans, building plans, and construction drawings • Practical IP networking knowledge, including IP addressing, DHCP/DNS, VLANs, firewall rules, ports, and network connectivity • Experience coordinating third-party contractors, installers, field service teams, or vendors • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and guide others through remote/on-site troubleshooting • Strong project coordination, organization, and execution skills • Strong customer-facing communication skills • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including enterprise customers, contractors, IT teams, facilities teams, and internal technical teams • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to understand the customer/business impact of technical issues • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to take ownership of problems through resolution rather than simply escalating them • Currently residing in the Philippines and legally authorized to work there • Nice-to-have: Experience with BMS, HVAC controls, building automation, BACnet/BACnet IP, Modbus, IoT or connected-building technologies, enterprise deployments, contractors, cloud-connected hardware, SaaS/IoT products, enterprise customers, ticketing systems, major BMS platforms, security questionnaires, Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN, cellular connectivity, PoE, APIs, and WELL/LEED technologies
