📋 Description

• Edit 60-to-90-second vertical, serial micro-drama episodes from raw in-engine gameplay and creator footage • Manage end-to-end story edits, sound design, color grading, and on-screen graphics for episodic drops • Pace episodes to maximize viewer retention, focusing on cold opens, narrative turns, and cliffhangers • Accurately name assets according to project taxonomy, tag and file assets, and deliver cuts with concise notes • Work across defined effort tiers, distinguishing between a one-hour story polish and a quick trim • Cover social, hype, or brand editing tasks for pod teammates during heavy production weeks • Serve as the narrative engine of a specialized offshore production pod • Report directly to the Directors of Editorial • Complete a hands-on assessment during the technical interview

🎯 Requirements

• Active player/enthusiast in gaming culture, specifically Roblox, Fortnite, GTA, and Minecraft • Proven experience cutting serialized short-form drama, vertical narrative formats (e.g., ReelShort, DramaBox formats), or story-driven gaming content • Strong instinct for music choice, audio leveling, and cut timing that builds narrative tension • Fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve; learning on the job is not permitted • Strong written English skills to give and receive feedback clearly without translation layers • Must own a machine capable of 4K multicam editing: Apple Silicon M2+ or PC with dedicated GPU and 16GB+ RAM • Dual displays, with at least one 1440p display • Fiber internet with 25Mbps+ upload and a backup line • UPS • Professional mixing headphones/monitors • Self-starter who can take initiative from the queue • Able to own edits from raw footage through correctly tagged, filed, and annotated delivery • Accepts directional changes from leadership • Proactively flags unusable footage, unclear briefs, and schedule risks • Calm, dependable, and focused on maintaining high standards at scale • Must be currently residing in the Philippines and legally authorized to work there
