📋 Description

• Lead and manage the finance team, providing training and coaching as needed to support professional development and performance. • Reconcile bank and credit card statements and ensure accuracy in all financial records. • Manage daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities. • Support month-end and year-end closing processes. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies. • Collaborate with external auditors and provide required documentation for audits.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a similar role. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. • Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel is required. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Effective communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in billing and account receivable records. • Familiarity with corporate accounting practices. • Experience working with US Clients and Retail companies. • Experience in multi-jurisdictional tax compliance (U.S. sales tax, GST, VAT). • Ability to use Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting. • Preparation and management of financial reports. • Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
