📋 Description

• Lead and execute OCCUs financial strategy, aligning with organizational goals and long-term objectives. • Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, receivables, payables, and financial reporting. • Ensure timely and accurate forecasts, financial modeling, and analysis of financial trends. • Manage budget development, rolling forecasts, and performance tracking against organizational goals. • Interpret financial, economic, and statistical data to inform strategic decisions. • Ensure compliance with GAAP and all regulatory reporting requirements. • Oversee reporting to regulatory agencies and ensure timely and accurate submissions. • Address audit findings and ensure appropriate resolution of financial exceptions. • Lead, coach, and develop finance team members, fostering a highly engaged and high-performing team. • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support collaboration and execution.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of directly related finance and accounting experience. • Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. (GAAP) • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment. • Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail help ensure efficient, accurate task completion in planning, workflow, and project prioritization. • Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills. • Bachelors degree in finance and/or a strong record of achieving business results required.
