• Friendly, helpful and competent service for passengers on our RRX lines • Informing passengers about the journey and connecting services through onboard announcements and personal assistance • Conducting ticket checks and recording passengers without a valid ticket; selling tickets using a mobile sales device in accordance with applicable tariff and carriage conditions (VRR tariff, VRS tariff, VRM tariff, Germany tariff, NRW tariff) • Maintaining safety and order on board in accordance with the applicable house rules • Operating onboard technical service equipment and troubleshooting minor faults • Assisting and supporting passengers with reduced mobility when boarding and alighting • Securing and handing over lost property and assisting with stowing luggage and bicycles
• Completed training/qualification as a customer service agent in local transport desirable • Full documentation of completed qualification as a Security and Service Specialist (Sicherheits- und Servicefachkraft) in public transport is an advantage; alternatively willingness to complete internal training • Ideally: certificate for the aptitude test in accordance with Section 34a of the German Trade Regulation Act (GewO), up-to-date first aid training, fire protection training, de-escalation training, BuP training • Confident command of German, both written and spoken, and basic knowledge of English • Professional appearance and enjoyment in working with people, including in difficult situations • Service-oriented approach, reliability and team spirit • Resilience, assertiveness and a strong sense of responsibility • Flexibility and willingness to work shifts and alternating schedules, including nights, weekends and public holidays • Car and driving license advantageous
