📋 Description

• Friendly, helpful and professional service for passengers on our RRX lines • Informing passengers about the journey and connecting services via announcements on board and by providing personal assistance • Conducting ticket inspections and recording passengers without a valid ticket; selling tickets using a mobile sales device in accordance with applicable fare and carriage conditions (VRR tariff, VRS tariff, VRM tariff, Germany tariff, NRW tariff) • Maintaining safety and order on the train in accordance with the applicable house rules • Operating technical service equipment on board and resolving minor malfunctions • Assisting and supporting passengers with reduced mobility during boarding and alighting • Handling lost property and assisting with the stowage of luggage and bicycles

🎯 Requirements

• Completed training/qualification as a Customer Service Representative (m/f/d) in local passenger transport is desirable • Full documentation of completed qualification as a Safety and Service Specialist (m/f/d) in public transport (ÖPNV) is an advantage; alternatively willingness to complete internal training • Ideally: certificate of competence under Section 34a GewO, current first aid training, fire safety training, de-escalation training and BuP training • Confident command of the German language, both written and spoken, and basic knowledge of English • Neat appearance and enjoyment in working with people, including in difficult situations • Service-oriented approach, reliability and ability to work in a team • Resilience, assertiveness and a sense of responsibility • Flexibility and willingness to work shift and rotating schedules, including nights, weekends and public holidays • Own car and driving license are an advantage
