📋 Description

• Design and build end-to-end backend services and API features using C# .NET • Write high-quality, well-tested code and define integration and contract testing strategies • Apply clean code principles and domain-driven design (DDD) • Collaborate with product and QA to refine, scope, and estimate roadmap items • Raise technical risks and dependencies early • Uphold backend security practices and share responsibility for system health • Maintain observability through logging, metrics, and alerting • Lead incident investigations and drive root-cause fixes • Identify and help prioritize technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies • Participate in design and code reviews • Support and mentor peers through pairing and onboarding • Use modern AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT effectively and responsibly

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and building backend services in production environments • Proven track record delivering robust, scalable systems using C# .NET • Deep expertise in PostgreSQL and Redis or similar caching solutions, including data modeling and performance tuning • Hands-on experience with GCP preferred; Azure/AWS also relevant • Experience with containerized environments • Practical experience designing event-driven systems and working with messaging tools such as Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, and queues • Solid grasp of software architecture, REST APIs, design patterns, observability practices, and backend security fundamentals • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams • Excellent communication skills for explaining technical decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience building agentic AI software development workflows • Prior experience with system migrations or scaling platforms through significant user growth • Must be authorized to work in Bulgaria
