📋 Description

• Design, develop, and continuously improve AI-powered software solutions from the initial idea through stable production deployment • Design and implement agentic systems with tool and function calling, multi-stage workflow orchestration, context and state management, retries, fallbacks, human-in-the-loop capabilities, and guardrails • Design and implement LLM applications with RAG pipelines, structured extraction, evaluation, and observability • Integrate ML models, foundation models, and data-driven services, including APIs, data flows, and infrastructure • Take a hands-on role in developing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications on AWS and Azure • Identify and assess AI use cases in customer projects • Use AI tools in development, code review, and delivery, and share knowledge with the team • Advise customers on architecture, technology, and make-or-buy decisions • Ensure code quality through Clean Code, testing, reviews, and best practices • Help shape the AI capability area by defining key topics, transferring knowledge, and establishing standards

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in modern software development, ideally in a full-stack environment • Practical experience with LLMs and generative AI in real-world projects • Experience with prompting, RAG, embeddings/vector databases, function calling, fine-tuning, or agent frameworks • Experience with or a strong interest in agentic engineering • Solid understanding of ML fundamentals and data processing • Cloud development with AWS and/or Azure, including CI/CD, containers, and Infrastructure as Code • Proficiency in Clean Code, SOLID principles, and sound software architectures • Independent and responsible approach to work • Strong analytical and conceptual skills • Ability to develop pragmatic solutions for complex requirements • High motivation and passion for software development • Very good German language skills (C1), both written and spoken • Good English language skills • Nice to have: experience with Angular, .NET, NestJS, C#, TypeScript, Python, Terraform, and/or CDK • Senior-level experience, willingness to learn, and the ability to quickly become familiar with new technologies and project environments
