📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Software Engineers • Provide development for customer professional services projects • Implement and develop customizations based on functional and technical requirements • Apply leading practices and internal code standards on large-scale, complex professional services projects • Interface with end-users, IT teams, and key stakeholders to gather ITSM system requirements • Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules • Configure Application UI, workflows, work orders, transfer orders, inventory, and technician locations • Configure ServiceNow integrations via REST/SOAP web services and other applications • Guide customers through technical solutions for business requirements involving ITSM, CSM, and/or ITOM processes • Gather environment information from technical SMEs to support service mapping and event work • Reflect impact assessment rules in service maps and validate them with SMEs and stakeholders • Participate in user acceptance testing for maps, impact rules, and event management work • Promote update sets and data across applicable ServiceNow environments • Remediate production incidents related to the assigned scope • Align with the existing ServiceNow technical lead to maintain consistent approaches and shared patterns • Maintain operational documentation and SOPs to reduce support risk and inefficiency

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of ServiceNow in 2 or more capabilities (e.g. ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, Platform, CSM) • Strong experience in ITSM, CSM, FSM, etc. • Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems/platforms using mid servers and cloud-to-cloud integrations • Experience with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST) and bi-directional, automated integrations between systems • Experience with data extraction technologies such as JDBC and ODBC, or ETL integrations • Proven experience implementing ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Software Asset Management, ITSM, Service Catalog, and Workflows • Deep understanding of the ServiceNow CMDB and related processes • Knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, and Script Includes • Ability to create technical design documents and user documentation • A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or demonstrated work experience • Willingness and ability to continue education within the ServiceNow platform and beyond • Ability to complete ServiceNow competency certifications and module accreditations • Preferred certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), CIS - ITSM, CIS - SAM / SAM Pro
