📋 Description

• Provide operational support for critical mainframe tooling platforms and ensure high availability • Participate in on-call rotations • Support major infrastructure upgrades and migrations • Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies for mainframe modernization • Implement ZOWE, VS Code integrations, APIs, and developer productivity platforms • Enable adoption of AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Glean • Support initiatives involving APIs, scripting, DevOps, and CI/CD practices • Build integrations between mainframe and distributed/open systems platforms • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows through AI and automation • Work in support of CSG’s technologies that help companies connect with, use, and pay for valued services

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience administering, configuring, upgrading, and supporting mainframe development tools and utilities • Strong knowledge of JCL, SDSF, ISPF, CA7, TWS/OPC/IZWS, VSAM, Cobol, and ISPW • Proven experience in CI/CD design and automation using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Chef • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and PowerShell scripting/programming • Experience supporting critical tooling platforms and ensuring high availability • Experience participating in on-call rotations • Experience supporting major infrastructure upgrades and migrations • Experience with APIs, scripting, DevOps, and CI/CD practices • Experience building integrations between mainframe and distributed/open systems platforms
