• Interact with new and existing customers to increase sales of NWD’s products and services. • Manage customer accounts within a pre-defined territory within the US Eastern Region. • Research, profile, and qualify potential customers to develop a robust and accurate sales pipeline. • Utilize proven sales techniques to initiate contact, assess customer needs, and present NWD solutions that address technical and program requirements. • Prepare and deliver presentations, demonstrations, and proposal materials that effectively communicate NWD’s capabilities and value proposition. • Support quoting activity, proposal preparation, and follow-up communication to ensure a smooth sales process and positive customer experience. • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in coordination with internal teams to ensure satisfaction and maintain relationships. • Maintain a strong understanding of NWD’s product portfolio, competitive positioning, and industry trends. • Maintain accurate opportunity and customer data within the CRM system (Salesforce). • Coordinate with internal departments, engineering, operations, contracts, and program management, to meet customer expectations. • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as required. • Other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field preferred. • 3-7+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or outside sales preferred; experience in Aerospace and Defense or technical sales is a plus. • 3+ years supporting Regional Sales Leader in the Eastern time zone. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly. • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. • Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM tools such as Salesforce. • Willingness to learn NWD’s embedded computing and FPGA-based systems in depth. • Willingness to travel ~25% for customer meetings or events. • Must be able to lift and carry 20 pounds. • Must have finger and wrist dexterity with repetitive motion. • Successful applicants must be of a "U.S. Person" and able to prove so at employment acceptance.
