📋 Description

• Design and deploy server clusters. • Remotely diagnose hardware problems and facilitate server repairs. • Manage Akamai's hardware assets. • Manage a team of field technicians and work closely with external partners. • Ensure exceptional service delivery with internal cross-functional teams. • Monitor and respond to server, router, switch, and operating system alarms within defined SLAs. • Troubleshoot network hardware and manage infrastructure assets for platform stability. • Diagnose and resolve switch, router, and network infrastructure issues. • Support resolution of high-severity technical incidents and operational escalations. • Collaborate with field technicians, data centers, and partners for infrastructure installation and maintenance. • Design, develop, and maintain monitoring alerts, runbooks, and operational documentation. • Install, configure, optimize, and automate network infrastructure using operational tools and best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Have a bachelor's degree and relevant experience of 2 years in a similar role/domain • Have experience in network technologies and basic knowledge of networking • Have experience with data center portals • Have proficiency in network technologies and OSI layer 2 and a good understanding of OSI layer 3,4 & 7 (HTTP/HTTPS/DNS). • Possess basic knowledge of bash/perl/python scripting in a Linux/Unix environment and SQL.
