📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using modern cloud-native tooling • Contribute to modernization of Akamai's data stack by migrating legacy systems, improving reliability, and establishing engineering best practices • Design and deploy AI/ML solutions to automate and optimize core business workflows • Partner with BI and analytics teams to ensure data models are well-designed, documented, and trusted • Drive adoption of analytics engineering best practices across the organization • Prototype, build, and productionize GenAI and ML-powered workflows and internal tools • Work cross-functionally with product and platform teams to identify and deliver high-value AI use cases • Help define engineering standards for responsible, observable, and scalable AI in production

🎯 Requirements

• Intellectual curiosity and a proactive bias for action • Track record of solving complex problems in ambiguous environments • Deep understanding of business processes and data lifecycles • Strong foundation in data architecture and pipeline design • Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL • Experience with enterprise reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI • Demonstrated experience applying GenAI and AI/ML to improve business processes • Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical roadmaps for business stakeholders
