📋 Description

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for managed security offerings and capabilities • Define and maintain product requirements based on customer security outcomes, threat landscape trends, and competitive positioning • Evaluate and direct security technology investments at an architectural level • Facilitate build-versus-buy-versus-partner analysis for new security capabilities • Develop business cases, revenue models, competitive differentiation, and go-to-market strategies for new offerings • Partner with Product Marketing on messaging, collateral, and sales enablement • Represent product direction in operational reviews with SOC and engineering teams • Manage cross-functional product lines across detection engineering, threat intelligence, IAM, network security, cloud security, application security, onboarding, and partner capabilities • Mentor or coach other product managers • Represent Rackspace security products in alliance, partner, and analyst forums

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Information Security, Business, or a related field • Additional relevant experience and certifications may substitute for the degree requirement at the manager's discretion • 8–11 years of experience in product management, with significant cybersecurity, managed security services, or security technology experience • Advanced knowledge of managed security services and professional services markets • Demonstrated ownership of a security product or service through multiple full lifecycle stages • Working knowledge of detection and response, threat intelligence, IAM, network security, application security, secure SDLC, cloud security, information protection, GRC, vulnerability management, and AI security • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, MITRE D3FEND, OWASP, CSA CCM, NIST CSF, Gartner Magic Quadrant, and Forrester Wave • Product strategy and roadmap management for security or technology platforms • Stakeholder and alliance management across internal and external groups • Agile/Lean development practices in a managed services delivery context • Business case development and financial modeling • Competitive analysis and market positioning in MSSP and GSI markets • Go-to-market planning, messaging, sales enablement, and partner alignment • Ability to interpret security telemetry, product usage, and operational metrics • Executive, technical, and customer-facing written and verbal communication • Experience with or alongside a SOC or managed detection and response team preferred • Experience managing technology alliance or partner relationships preferred • Experience operating in a global or offshore delivery model preferred
