📋 Description

• Investigate fraud attacks end-to-end, identify attack vectors, perform infrastructure- and application-level root cause analysis, and implement countermeasures • Configure and optimize Cloudflare WAF, bot management, rate limiting, Workers, and Turnstile challenge flows • Act as the technical bridge between fraud analysts, engineering, and product teams • Analyze multiple attack vectors and plan and prioritize technical fraud prevention tasks on the roadmap • Build tooling, scripts, and queries to improve the fraud analyst team’s technical capabilities • Maintain a deep understanding of payment flows, including authorization, 3DS, tokenization, and vulnerability locations

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in fraud prevention, security engineering, or a technical payments role • JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency, including Cloudflare Workers, Turnstile, and browser-side challenge flows • Backend understanding, including navigating server-side codebases, tracing API flows, and reading system logs • Strong SQL skills, including joins, window functions, and large transaction datasets • Hands-on Cloudflare experience with WAF, bot management, and rate limiting, or similar edge/CDN security platforms • Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa • Python scripting for automation and data analysis is a bonus • Experience with ELK, Grafana, or Datadog is a bonus • Background in application security or threat modeling is a bonus • Familiarity with Forter, Riskified, Sift, or in-house rule engines is a bonus • Git workflow and CI/CD basics are a bonus • Candidates are asked whether they are currently based in Poland and can work from there
