📋 Description

• Plan and operate highly available networks for nationwide retail infrastructure • Implement complete WLAN environments with NAC and 802.1X for energy providers • Support migrations to SD-WAN-based networks using Cisco Viptela/Catalyst SD-WAN or Fortinet • Analyze network-stack incidents for internationally operating manufacturing companies • Orchestrate AI agents with n8n to automate repetitive network tasks • Build and maintain a Network Source of Truth with NetBox or Nautobot • Build, transform, and operate complex WAN, LAN, and WLAN infrastructures • Execute migrations and rollouts from traditional networks to SDN approaches • Perform troubleshooting and log analysis to identify bottlenecks • Manage incidents, changes, and problems according to ITIL standards • Design and document network architectures, SOPs, and operating models • Advise on new technologies, including vendor comparisons and roadmapping • Assume partial project responsibility if desired

🎯 Requirements

• CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE, plus substantial practical experience across diverse architectures and technical orchestrations • Critical thinking regarding AI outputs and accountability for agent results • WAN knowledge: routing, MPLS, IPsec, DMVPN, SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP • LAN knowledge: switching, VLANs, and trunking (802.1Q), port security, STP, CDP/LLDP • WLAN knowledge: WPA2 and WPA3, WLAN controllers, 802.11ac/ax/be (Wi-Fi 5/6/6E/7) • VPN knowledge: IPsec, IKEv1/v2, TLS-based VPNs, and remote access concepts • Troubleshooting and analysis using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and Packet Tracer • Knowledge of REST APIs, SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow, YAML/JSON, and tools such as Postman or Bruno • German proficiency at least at C1 level • English proficiency at least at B1/B2 level • Willingness to learn and continue developing • Nice to have: Cisco AIBIZ, AITECH, DCAI, or similar AI training; n8n or comparable automation platforms; NetBox, Nautobot, or similar SSoT/NSoT platforms; monitoring, logging, and SIEM solutions such as Splunk, Prometheus/Grafana, or QRadar; NetBox Copilot and AI-supported infrastructure workflows
