📋 Description

• Lead the development, execution, governance, and compliance of the company’s global grants and incentives process • Identify, research, interpret, and evaluate grants, incentives, tax credits, loans, and other global funding opportunities • Monitor legislative, regulatory, and economic development trends and advise leaders on opportunities, requirements, and risks • Serve as the company’s grants and incentives subject-matter expert • Lead incentive opportunities from intake through award and ongoing compliance • Establish project plans, priorities, decision points, documentation standards, timelines, and stakeholder accountability • Coordinate recurring project meetings with internal teams and external consultants • Lead preparation and submission of incentive applications, business cases, financial analyses, agreements, reporting packages, and compliance documentation • Participate in negotiations with public authorities, economic development agencies, and external partners • Oversee cross-functional and cross-regional workstreams across Finance, Operations, Engineering, HR, Treasury, Legal, Tax, Accounting, Corporate Development, and other teams • Establish and maintain global process governance, controls, documentation, reporting, escalation protocols, and audit readiness • Own grants and incentives portfolio, databases, reporting calendars, and performance metrics • Monitor portfolio financial performance and return on investment; provide forecasts, insights, and recommendations to leadership • Ensure ongoing compliance for awarded incentives, including submissions, records, benefit validation, audit support, and issue resolution • Chair or facilitate steering committees and stakeholder groups • Prepare and deliver presentations, portfolio reports, and decision materials • Direct outside consultants and professional advisors • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, training, and adoption of grants and incentives processes and tools

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Public Administration, Law, or a related field required • Advanced degree or relevant professional certification preferred • 5-8 years of progressive experience in grants and incentives, tax credits, public funding, economic development, finance, accounting, government affairs, or a related field • Experience leading complex cross-functional projects • Experience evaluating, securing, negotiating, and managing material grants or incentive opportunities • Experience ensuring ongoing compliance with award requirements • Strong financial and business acumen • Experience developing business cases, evaluating return on investment, forecasting benefits, and translating complex information into actionable recommendations • Ability to influence senior leaders and lead in a matrix organization • Ability to resolve competing priorities and build relationships with government authorities, consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders • Strong negotiation, analytical, written communication, and executive presentation skills • Experience in a global, multi-region, multi-site, manufacturing, or similarly complex organization preferred • Strong project management and organizational skills • Advanced proficiency with Excel, databases, reporting and visualization tools, and document management systems
