📋 Description

• Handle independent accounts payable and accounts receivable bookkeeping for companies preparing financial statements as well as companies using the income-surplus calculation (EÜR) • Set up and review accounting systems for clients • Communicate confidently and independently with clients, offices, and authorities • Coordinate deadlines and appointments for the client portfolio and align tasks accordingly • Handle administrative tasks such as managing email inboxes, conducting research, and preparing analyses • Prepare accounting-related filings, including OSS reports, recapitulative statements (ZM), and VAT returns (USt-VA) • Ensure the completeness of supporting documents and verify accurate data transmission through systems and interfaces • Handle monthly or quarterly closings and prepare for year-end closing • Contribute to the development of internal processes and share expertise

🎯 Requirements

• Successfully completed commercial training (e.g., tax clerk or certified accountant) or comparable education or further training • Several years of professional experience in accounting, including accounting for companies that prepare financial statements • Proficient in accounting systems such as DATEV, Agenda, or Addison • Quick to understand and adopt digital processes • Ideally, experience preparing annual financial statements for tax advisors • Enjoy communicating with clients and have a strong service-oriented mindset • Independent, structured approach to work • Hands-on mentality • Willingness to work 100% digitally and paperlessly
