📋 Description

• Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Horizontal in partnership with the CPO and broader leadership team • Drive customer-centric product innovation focused on growth, retention, and monetization across buyer and seller journeys • Lead AI transformation for the horizontal domain • Lead incubation, development, and transition to a fully agentic horizontal marketplace • Lead a product organization of around 15 people, emphasizing experimentation, documentation, and upstream opportunity discovery • Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams across markets to align product development with business priorities • Identify and execute strategic opportunities, including creative monetization levers, cross-market improvements, and long-term category positioning • Establish and scale product thinking and execution best practices across teams • Recruit, mentor, and develop product managers and product leaders • Partner with senior stakeholders across finance, commercial, and other functions to build consensus around strategy and priorities • Act as a thought partner and sparring peer to product and business leaders shaping OLX's future • Report to Michael Bullion, Chief Product Officer

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading product teams in online B2C/B2B2C environments, ideally in marketplaces, e-commerce, or classifieds • Experience navigating two-sided marketplaces involving consumer buyers and sellers • Strong hands-on product management background, including building products and working closely with engineers and commercial stakeholders • Several years of experience hiring, growing, and directly managing Product Managers at all career stages • Ideally, experience leading teams of a similar size, approximately 15 people • Comfort working in cross-functional, multicultural teams across multiple markets • Ability to balance long-term vision with short- and medium-term goals • Experience in both 0-to-1 and scaling phases of product development • Proven track record of moving between domains and sectors • Ability to learn quickly • Experience developing and managing AI-based products
