📋 Description

• Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning • Handle code deployments in all environments • Identify, validate, and implement technologies that enable new functionality or improve operating efficiency • Monitor cloud-based applications and underlying databases, servers, and networks for availability, capacity, and performance • Create design specifications and demonstrate solutions with detailed documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and charts • Partner with support, operations, and development teams to meet SLAs • Resolve production issues and perform root cause analysis to mitigate recurring production problems • Provide on-call support once a month • Support infrastructure running several product platforms, web services, complex data pipelines, and modern user interfaces

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience supporting high-availability, revenue-generating systems on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) • 3+ years of experience working in modern web-scale environments with development and IT teams using Agile/Scrum • 3+ years of experience managing Linux and Windows servers using Bash, PowerShell, etc. • Experience building and supporting continuous integration/delivery pipelines, including environment reproduction, deployment, and resource scaling, using tools such as Jenkins and CloudFormation • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop • Familiarity with PHP, Nginx, and Java • Experience with version control systems such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial • Ability to work as part of a 24x7 on-call rotation using software such as OpsGenie or PagerDuty • Experience in Cassandra, Docker, and ECS is a plus • Experience in the broadcast industry is a plus
