📋 Description

• Design, build, and ship key features while handling complex or ambiguous technical problems • Manage, coach, and grow a pod of 3–6 engineers based in Pakistan • Run 1:1s, provide feedback, support career development, and maintain quality and ownership standards • Define the architecture and technical roadmap for Insurance Verification • Break down the product roadmap, manage sprint execution, unblock the team, and deliver against timelines and SLAs • Partner with Product to translate requirements into technical plans • Coordinate with adjacent RCM pods and AI teams on shared data, pipelines, and integrations • Champion code reviews, testing, monitoring, on-call, and incident-response practices • Communicate progress, risks, and technical trade-offs to engineering and product leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on full-stack or backend development • 2+ years directly managing or leading engineers, with experience mentoring and growing people • Strong hands-on backend experience with Python, Java, or Go • Comfort with relational and non-relational databases • Familiarity with GCP or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD practices • Experience owning a product area end-to-end, from scoping and technical design through production operation • Experience working in distributed, cross-time-zone teams • Comfortable managing engineers based in a different location • Healthcare, insurance, fintech, or other high-reliability transactional-systems experience is a plus • Prior player-coach or working tech-lead experience is a strong plus
