• Identify the roles and responsibilities of the AIT in a Long-Term Facility. • Assist in analyzing the various operations within a nursing facility. • Act as a liaison between the nursing facility, residents, families and outside community. • Compile and develop reporting on budget projections, revenue and expenses. • Act as a role model for the Mission, Vision and Values. • Ensure all employees, residents and families are treated with the utmost respect. • Actively involved in community groups and developing/maintaining relationships with local hospital leadership and physicians. • Monitor industry regulations, laws, compliance updates and make changes as appropriate. • Use time effectively to study for both Federal and State regulations and come to a sound understanding of industry best practices. • Understand staffing level requirements and adhere to industry and company standards. • Assist in monitoring and directing execution of policy and procedural changes. • Actively involved in resolving HR issues and Risk Management situations within the facility. • Assist in capital improvements. • Participate in Advisory committees. • Assist in all safety programs. • Develop and maintain a stellar reputation within the industry and community. • Develop relationships with the support team (HR/Therapy/Clinical/Finance) to assist with meeting/exceeding goals. • Assist in contract negotiations with vendors under the direction of the Preceptor. • Support Clinical efforts by understanding QA measures and holding people accountable. • Keep abreast of collections and A/R on a daily basis. • Develop and execute creative ideas to increase employee engagement and minimize turnover.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Healthcare Administration or Business preferred. • Master’s degree or MBA preferred. • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees. • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. • Proficient in the Microsoft Suite products.
