📋 Description

• Identify and implement strategic improvements to platform architecture to enhance performance and scalability • Explore and validate new frameworks/ideas and translate them into engineering standards • Ensure architectural consistency across multiple platforms (Web, TV, Consoles) • Create performance benchmarks, coding standards, and documentation to improve developer velocity • Foster a culture of technical curiosity and data-driven decision-making among senior and mid-level engineers • Maintain engineering relationships with OEMs (Samsung, Sony, Roku, etc.) for performance optimization and technical certification • Lead deep-dive "hands-on" problem solving and investigations into system performance or memory issues

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent functional experience • 10+ years of professional SDE experience, specifically building large-scale consumer-facing applications • Extensive knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript • Solid insight of embedded web-based applications, device constraints, memory management, and rendering optimization • Deep comprehension of advanced rendering technologies like WebGL or OpenGL • Skilled in performance profiling, debugging across multiple environments, and using telemetry systems (New Relic, Datadog) • Awareness with modern CI/CD, version control, automated testing, and observability • Deep knowledge of Smart TV ecosystems (Tizen, WebOS, Roku) or multi-OEM environments • Knowledge of video playback technologies and playback-specific SDKs • Experience building SDKs, shared libraries, or modular frameworks for code reuse • Expertise in GPU/Graphics profiling, shader tuning (GLSL/HLSL), texture optimization, and canvas-based rendering • Experience collaborating with UX/Design teams to translate visual concepts into high-fidelity, performant production code • Experience documenting technical findings (ADRs) in Confluence and managing workstreams in JIRA
