• Coordinate with team members and activities across studies • Liaise with project teams to ensure site payment setup and payments are effectively managed • Manage payments for assigned studies • Manage payment setup and modifications within the investigator payment system for expenses aligned to budget templates • Assist project team project planning and decision-making processes • Provide proactive support across projects and assigned tasks • Identify risks, impacts, and potential resolutions • Act as accountable Lead for Site Payment Services queries on assigned studies and point of contact for project teams • Solve customer problems and accept responsibility for actions • Collaborate with Project Leadership, Global Site Contracts, eClinical Business Implementation, Global Clinical Operations, and Site Payment Services teams • Represent the Investigator Payment team in study start-up and payment strategy meetings • Lead and follow up on audits and inspections • Complete routine administrative tasks including timesheets, metrics, and expenses • Analyze agreements and manage site payment setup and payment processes • Collect information from teams, systems, and tools • Analyze and present data to stakeholders • Train Site Payment Services team members • Implement process efficiencies • Manage end-to-end site payments, where applicable • Communicate site payment status and issues to internal and external team members • Authorize study setups before payments begin • Resolve escalated second-line helpdesk issues • Assist with project status reports • Ensure appropriate funding before administering payments • Participate in Project Strategy Meetings and provide input on payment strategy planning • Ensure compliance with contractual investigator payment timelines • Resolve payment discrepancies • Provide payment reports to customers as requested
• 4+ years’ experience are preferred within a Clinical Research Organization; Business; Finance/Accounting; or other comparable experience • Advanced to excellent English level for non-native English speakers • Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills • Ability to make decisions and advise other staff even in ambiguous situations • Ability to conduct root cause analysis in problem solving and process development • Strong customer focus, ability to interact professionally • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail • Expert in using MS Excel for spreadsheet analysis • Strong proficiency in use of MS Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word • Analytical mind with strong attention to detail • Commitment to high quality work and consistent performance • Comfortable with working in a decentralized matrix environment and being a conversant team player • Thoroughly understands fundamentals of CRO industry and how Investigator Payments influence in the organization
