📋 Description

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial operations • Prepare financial accounting data across a variety of areas in a timely and accurate manner • Record, verify, consolidate, and enter accounting transactions • Record monthly journal entries to close the books • Reconcile assigned accounts monthly • Record invoices, obtain approvals, and generate payments • Manage supplier tax documentation, including VAT IDs and required tax information • Support contractor income tracking and ensure VAT compliance where applicable • Organize and maintain vendor records • Coordinate with auditors for interim and annual audits • Provide documentation and support during audits • Ensure compliance with internal controls and applicable accounting standards • Complete ad hoc projects • Cross-train and back up team members when necessary

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent German, written and spoken • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 2+ years of experience in financial accounting or a similar accounting role • Familiarity with HubSpot, Ramp, and similar tools • Multitasking, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
