📋 Description

• Independent preparation and further development of the monthly group consolidation under German GAAP (HGB), and support on IFRS-related matters • Analysis and quality assurance of reporting packages from our international subsidiaries • Ensure high data quality, including plausibility checks and root-cause analyses of variances • Independently reconcile complex accounting and consolidation matters with local finance teams and external advisors • Execute and document consolidation entries (intercompany, capital consolidation, currency translation, etc.) • Support annual and group audit processes and act as a point of contact for auditors • Integrate new entities into the group financial statement and reporting process • Further develop our accounting and closing processes as well as the LucaNet landscape • Prepare work instructions and documentation to standardize our processes • Participate in group-wide finance projects (M&A integration, process harmonization, reporting standards)

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of professional experience (at least 4–5 years) in group accounting or in audit with a focus on consolidated financial statements • Strong knowledge of group accounting under the German Commercial Code (HGB); IFRS knowledge is an advantage • Solid experience with consolidation software, ideally LucaNet • Confident handling of complex accounting and consolidation matters • Excellent Excel skills and a strong IT affinity • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style • Strong analytical skills and a desire to understand root causes rather than just correcting symptoms • Self-initiative and willingness to take responsibility and actively develop processes • Excellent German and English language skills
