📋 Description

• Own the day-to-day accounting operations that keep Passage Health running • Month end close, billing and invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and payroll • Be the first point of contact for client billing questions • Work closely with the Head of Finance • Prepare and maintain financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards • Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, providing insights to management • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, collaborating with various departments • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions • Oversee payroll management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and timely processing • Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and software • Communicate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes

🎯 Requirements

• Degree from University in accountancy or similar • Hands-on ownership of full-cycle month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS) • Experience owning accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing/invoicing, including direct client communication on billing questions • Strong written and verbal English communication and the ability to work core US Eastern hours • High attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, fully remote environment
