📋 Description

• Support civil society organizations in strengthening the design, implementation, and sustainability of programmatic models around community sponsorship and other protection pathways • Conduct collaborative institutional and organizational assessments • Identify organizational strengths, operational and programmatic gaps, sustainability challenges, and priority support areas • Design and deliver tailored organizational strengthening and accompaniment guidance • Develop practical action plans and follow-up processes based on organizational needs and capacities • Support organizations in co-developing and strengthening organizational processes, tools, and workflows • Guide organizations as agreed improvements are implemented • Support organizations in structuring community engagement approaches • Contribute to expanding and diversifying the network of civil society organizations engaged in community sponsorship • Conduct outreach, relationship-building, and initial engagement with potential new organizations • Collaborate with the Brazil team and relevant specialists to align organizational support with strategic priorities, approaches, and standards • Participate in weekly check-ins and additional meetings as needed • Provide written monthly progress reports

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience • Demonstrated experience supporting the institutional or organizational strengthening of NGOs, civil society organizations, or community-based organizations • University degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Social Work, International Relations, Psychology, Law, or another relevant field • Experience designing and delivering tailored organizational strengthening and accompaniment processes • Ability to conduct collaborative and participatory organizational assessments and translate findings into priorities, recommendations, action plans, and follow-up processes • Experience co-developing or improving organizational processes, operational workflows, practical tools, or implementation arrangements • Strong analytical, facilitation, and writing skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple organizational support processes and work independently in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment • Fluency in Portuguese and strong working proficiency in English, oral and written • High level of professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and interpersonal sensitivity • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and SharePoint • Experience working within civil society or community-based organizations in institutional development, organizational management, or program implementation is desirable • Experience supporting community engagement, local participation, or community-based approaches is desirable • Familiarity with the Brazilian civil society, migration, refugee protection, and/or community sponsorship ecosystem is desirable

• Consultancy contract for an initial period of six months • Commitment of 40 hours per week • Remote work based in Brazil • Occasional in-person engagement with organizations, subject to prior agreement • Meetings during regular working hours in Brazil
