📋 Description

• Perform detailed take-offs and cost estimates for mechanical and HVAC services • Use Plandroid to create accurate HVAC layouts and air conditioning designs • Prepare and submit comprehensive tenders for commercial projects, accounting for ducting, units, labor, and ancillaries • Manage progress claims, variations, and final accounts throughout the project lifecycle • Apply knowledge of NZ/AU building standards and mechanical codes to ensure compliance and cost-efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of dedicated HVAC/Mechanical Estimator experience • Proficiency in Plandroid • Previous experience working on New Zealand projects is highly preferred • Strong background in commercial HVAC systems (office fit-outs, industrial, or large-scale retail) rather than standard residential • Excellent English communication skills; ability to explain technical HVAC details clearly to stakeholders • Solid understanding of HVAC components, ducting design, and thermal requirements
