📋 Description

• Price commercial construction tenders from quantity take-off through pre-submission • Complete quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings using Cubit Estimating Software, Bluebeam, and similar tools • Apply project-specific labour schedules of rates and supplier pricing to produce detailed cost build-ups • Prepare trade breakdowns, inclusions, exclusions, pricing assumptions, bid forms, returnable schedules, and pricing schedules • Identify cost risks, scope gaps, ambiguities, and document gaps, and raise queries with relevant teams • Request supplier and subcontractor pricing, issue RFQs, follow up quotations, and assess returned pricing • Verify lead times, craneage, logistics constraints, access limitations, and onboarding requirements • Prepare tender clarifications, risk notes, programme assumptions, and compliance responses • Maintain tender-document version control and meet internal and external deadlines • Track tender outcomes and maintain the Estimating Register • Respond to post-tender clarifications and pricing adjustments • Prepare project handover documentation for awarded projects • Support Contract Administration with scope breakdowns for project claim formats • Work Australian business hours aligned with Loganholme office AEST • Attend daily and weekly Microsoft Teams meetings and provide written progress updates • Use SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, and Cubit for centrally stored, version-controlled, auditable work • Report daily to the Estimating Manager and escalate blockers and deadline risks early

🎯 Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Building & Construction, Estimating, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline • 2+ years’ experience in a dedicated estimating role • Demonstrated experience estimating to Australian commercial construction standards, measurement conventions, and documentation • Australian industry experience strongly preferred; equivalent offshore experience pricing Australian projects considered • Primary function should be estimating rather than project management, site engineering, or contract administration with incidental estimating exposure • Exposure to live construction sites or commercial construction environments highly regarded • Prior remote work for an Australian or overseas-based employer, or experience as part of a distributed team, highly regarded • Must be legally entitled to work in the Philippines • Role is engaged from the Philippines and does not include Australian work rights, visa sponsorship, or relocation
