📋 Description

• Complete onboarding of new corporate customers and accounting firms to the Pennylane platform • Ensure customers quickly realize the maximum value from the solution • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers • Build and maintain trusted customer relationships • Identify upsell opportunities • Ensure customers use Pennylane optimally to achieve their business goals • Conduct regular health checks and reviews • Maximize customer satisfaction and retention and prevent churn • Work closely with the German sales team and management • Optimize processes • Provide feedback on product requirements • Contribute to Pennylane’s strategic growth in Germany • Develop product expertise for the German finance and accounting landscape and share knowledge with customers

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional experience in accounting, account management, or a similar customer-facing role • Ideally experience in an accounting firm environment, or alternatively in SaaS or fintech • Completed training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellter), tax specialist (Steuerfachwirt), tax advisor, or a degree in finance • Deep understanding of the needs of businesses and/or tax advisors regarding finance, invoicing, and bookkeeping • Strong communication skills and empathy • Talent for explaining complex topics in simple terms • Proactive, solution-oriented, hands-on mentality • Willingness to help build processes from the ground up in an early-stage team • Willingness to travel to the Paris headquarters for onboarding and for regular customer visits in Germany, approximately once per month • Business-level German (C2 or native) • Fluent English • Enthusiasm for a changing work environment • High willingness to collaborate • Sufficient experience to align daily tasks with business priorities
