📋 Description

• Understand and frame user and product problems • Lead significant technical deliveries within the squad from problem definition through production operation • Design, implement, test, and operate reliable, scalable, user-focused products • Investigate and resolve complex production issues using monitoring, observability, and data analysis tools • Identify performance, scalability, and reliability opportunities and implement technical improvements • Become autonomous on high-impact initiatives within a few weeks when joining a new team • Improve engineering practices through code reviews, pair programming, documentation, RFCs, and AI-assisted development • Mentor engineers, share knowledge, provide actionable feedback, and improve team technical skills • Collaborate with other teams and communicate progress, risks, decisions, and results • Contribute to the tech community through technical content, onboarding, interviews, incident resolution, tech initiatives, and meetups

🎯 Requirements

• At least 7–8 years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails • Strong technical expertise in at least one major part of the stack • Strong product and business understanding • Ability to solve complex problems and deliver reliable, pragmatic solutions • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate ideas clearly • Collaborative approach and ownership of delivery • Right to work in the European Union • Must be based in Europe, within a maximum time difference of two hours from CET • No visa sponsorship; candidates must already have the right to work in the European Union • Experience with monitoring, observability, data analysis, code reviews, pair programming, documentation, RFCs, and AI-assisted development
