📋 Description

• Responsible for the general ledger • Processing accounting transactions in the general ledger as well as in lease and fixed-asset accounting • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS • Support with income tax calculations • Provide input for the monthly group reporting of BASF group companies • Serve as the central point of contact for accounting matters • Actively participate in projects to further develop the organization

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree in Business Administration / vocational training with a focus on accounting, or an equivalent qualification • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel • Ideally experience with SAP R/3 or S/4HANA • Very good command of English; German language skills are advantageous • High motivation to achieve success as part of a team • Ability to work independently and analytical thinking • Enthusiasm for automation and digitization of processes
