📋 Description

• As Maintenance Manager, you provide technical and disciplinary leadership to the maintenance team • Ensure the conduct of target-setting and development discussions and manage qualification processes • Responsible for cost controlling and order management for contracted maintenance activities • Make operational make-or-buy decisions (manage the in-house vs. external mix) • Support and advise the Asset Manager on measures to optimize maintenance effectiveness and plant performance • Assume (delegated) operator duties within your area of responsibility • Implement requirements from laws, regulations, ordinances and internal guidelines • Further develop the maintenance service portfolio as well as maintenance processes, methods and tools • Improve maintenance efficiency and actively cooperate with other maintenance managers at the site.

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in engineering, preferably mechanical engineering, or qualification as a mechanical engineering technician • At least five years of relevant professional experience • Personnel management experience is a plus • Extensive expertise in repair and maintenance processes and in operational controlling • Familiar with procurement processes and policies as well as collective bargaining and company HR regulations • Solid knowledge of SAP R/3 PM • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, very good German and good English skills
