📋 Description

• Provide medical-scientific and (cardio)metabolic expertise for products in the obesity pipeline, particularly GLP-1 therapies. • Build in-depth (cardio)metabolic and medical-scientific knowledge in the indication area. • Gather medical-scientific insights from clinical practice to support the strategy of the Medical Affairs department and the company. • Communicate medical-scientific knowledge to external stakeholders and networks in alignment with Pfizer’s overall strategy. • Build and maintain a strong regional network with clinical and scientific experts, institutions, professional societies, and research groups. • Manage external speakers and research partners, and address medical-pharmaceutical questions and external projects. • Discuss study concepts and evaluate current clinical research, publications, and congress presentations. • Develop and provide medical-pharmaceutical information for physicians, pharmacists, and Pfizer colleagues, and deliver external presentations in the indication area. • Implement the Medical Plan in the region and support or lead scientific congress symposia and event concepts. • Support interventional studies as well as NIS and RWE projects, including protocol input, feasibility assessments, site initiation, and engagement. • Contribute to the preparation, review, and approval of materials. • Train the commercial field force and other functions and contribute to compliance with Medical Compliance requirements. • Build expertise in at least one product-independent focus area, document insights in OneMed, and participate in cross-functional internal collaboration platforms.

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in human medicine, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, or natural sciences (qualified under Section 75 of the German Medicines Act), ideally with a doctoral degree. • Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred. • Medical-pharmaceutical expertise, including scientific methodology and interpretation of clinical studies. • Demonstrated expertise in the field of metabolism. • Specific knowledge of the healthcare system, products, and market in the indication area preferred. • Experience in project management, digital communication tools, and networking. • Fluent German (C1 level or higher) and very good English skills. • Class B driver’s license. • Excellent work organization, including self-management, administration, and reporting. • Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills; ability to work both collaboratively and independently. • Excellent coordination, assertiveness, and organizational skills. • Commitment to Pfizer’s values: Courage, Excellence, Equity, and Joy.
