📋 Description

• Maintain and extend backend systems for an AI-powered research and analysis platform built on Python • Build and optimize data ingestion pipelines that pull from external sources (reviews, data warehouse) into the application layer • Integrate LLMs and agents into existing backend workflows • Collaborate closely with a small cross-functional team (frontend, DevOps, full-stack) to ship features end-to-end • Ensure backend services meet production standards for reliability, performance, and data integrity

🎯 Requirements

• Lead-level experience in Python backend engineering (~8+YoE) • Proven experience translating business processes into technical requirements or solution designs, ideally in a consulting or client-facing delivery role • Experience owning a roadmap and prioritizing competing initiatives by feasibility, ROI, and readiness • Demonstrated stakeholder management with both technical teams and non-technical business leaders • Experience working in structured, production environments • Fluent English, Native or near native level. • Contribute to ongoing architectural decisions on a platform that spans backend, data, and AI layers • Take end-to-end ownership of backend technical delivery with minimal oversight • Translate client research workflows and stakeholder requirements into scalable backend solutions • Potential and appetite to grow into a technical lead role.
