📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting processes and systems focused on accounts receivable, billing, and revenue • Process and review customer invoices, credit memos, and adjustments • Manage and reconcile accounts receivable balances, aging reports, and unapplied cash • Record customer payments and support cash application processes • Support revenue accounting, deferred revenue schedules, and revenue reconciliations • Prepare and analyze journal entries related to revenue, accounts receivable, and related accounts • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, customer disputes, and payment variances • Perform account reconciliations and explain variances • Support month-end and year-end close processes • Assist with internal and external audits • Recommend improvements to billing, accounts receivable, and revenue processes, including system enhancements and automation • Partner with Sales, Billing, Revenue Accounting, and Customer Success teams on contract billing and collections • Develop and document processes to strengthen internal controls • Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX 404, and company policies • Identify automation opportunities within the close process or accounts receivable workflow and implement improvements cross-functionally • Support broader accounting initiatives and projects as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 5-8 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting • Understanding of GAAP • Exposure to revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 preferred) • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) • Strong Excel skills • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills • Fluent written and oral communication in English
