📋 Description

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for legacy and new system components • Design and implement automated test suites to ensure system reliability and performance • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing • Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve software defects • Verify data integrity during database migrations and system updates • Conduct security and compliance testing to ensure adherence to government standards • Document and report test results, including detailed bug reports • Participate in code reviews from a quality assurance perspective • Assist in defining and improving QA processes and methodologies • Support evolving team and organizational goals within the overall scope of the role

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Math, Science, or related field • At least five (5)+ years of professional software testing experience • Strong experience with manual and automated testing methodologies • Experience testing web applications and database-driven systems • Familiarity with government software development and testing processes • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Level security clearance • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent attention to detail and ability to think critically • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks • Good understanding of the software development life cycle • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a team environment • Adaptability to changing technologies and requirements • Experience with version control systems, such as Git • Preferred: experience testing Oracle PL/SQL-based systems • Preferred: knowledge of NoSQL database testing • Preferred: familiarity with microservice testing environments • Preferred: experience testing modern JavaScript frameworks • Preferred: automation for web application benchmarking and scripted testing • Preferred: experience testing systems in a closed-network environment
