📋 Description
• Plan, coordinate, and execute complex data conversion and migration projects • Develop and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes • Analyse and map data from legacy systems to new platforms • Perform data cleansing, validation, and deduplication • Collaborate with IT and business departments to define data conversion requirements and objectives • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues during the conversion process • Create and maintain documentation of data conversion procedures, mapping rules, and processes • Develop reports to monitor data quality and migration project progress
🎯 Requirements
• Proven professional experience as a Data Conversion Specialist, Data Migration Specialist, or in a similar role • Strong proficiency with SQL and extensive experience with relational database systems • Demonstrable experience with ETL tools and data migration methodologies • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is highly desirable • Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering organisation is advantageous
